Terminal 1 at Manchester

Terminal 1 is the largest of all three terminals flying to European and other worldwide destinations. It was opened in 1962 by Prince Phillip the Duke of Edinburgh, and it is a main base for EasyJet, Jet 2 and Thomas Cook. A few other airlines which fly out of Terminal 1 include Aer Lingus, Air Transat, Brussels Airlines, Emirates, Etihad Airways, Lufthansa, Scandinavian Airlines, Swiss , TAP Portugal and Turkish Airlines.

Departures drop off is easily located. Follow the signs for the terminal and then for Hilton Hotel and the Clayton Hotel. Turn onto the left hand ramp that follow these signs and enter the Drop Off entrance

Please note that limited waiting time is strictly enforced at the terminal. Please ensure you follow instructions for the meet and greet services to avoid delay and been moved on.

Terminal 1 at Manchester airport is a unifying, multi-purpose terminal catering for all possible requirements. With modern facilities you can expect extensive food and drink services available throughout both the arrivals and departures area. Also with a number of well-known high street shops you will be spoiled for choice.
